During this time of uncertainty, we forget about the little things that is important. It seems like the enemy is trying his best to put fear in our minds and hearts. If you are a believer, you have to fight the enemy with faith. Our faith is built on God being a supreme being. He controls everything, so why would he make junk? God don’t make junk. Here are three bible verses that will help you understand why you are not junk.
Psalm 139: 1-18
He provides everything that we need. We tend to forget that God create us for a purpose. Verse 13 states, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Why would we doubt our worth when he made us so unique and beautiful? Verse 6 states, “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.” Hold your head up high and never think less of yourself.

He will never forget about us. Verse 4 states, “what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them.” His grace is sufficient for all of us. It happens when hard stool blocks the colon. A person can experience lower back pain; nausea and vomiting; headaches; and more. Most of you could suffering from this health condition and not know it
. It is important for us to develop some healthy habits to avoid becoming “full of Sh@!:”.
H20
We cannot stress the importance of water. It is natural and available to us all. It is a cheap way for us to stay healthy. Do not go through the day without trying to drink at least 8 cups per day. If you do not like water, try putting a healthy some flavor in it. My favorite is lemon. Put a reminder on your calendar to drink water.
Fiber
This is another cheap way for us to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You can get fiber from fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grain, and beans. These items are sold at your local farmers market or given away at food drives. Foods with fiber can are not expensive and easy to find. Put up reminders, so you eat enough fiber.
Constipation
If your bowels move less than three times a week. You may be constipated. You should notify your doctor to make sure that it is not serious. Then follow your physician’s instructions. It is not good to take too many laxatives. If you are experiencing any symptoms of being constipated, call your doctor.
Being ‘full of it” is not good physically. There are other symptoms of Fecal Impaction. It doesn’t take much to be healthy. It takes a change of mindset for a lifetime, so enjoy the process.

Mental health awareness month helps us to take a deeper look at mental illness. The stigma behind mental illness has not changed since Jesus walked this earth. If you show signs of mental illness, you are possessed by demons or mentally retarded. People who are mentally ill are sick and need help. Jesus never treated anyone different because they of their situation. He shared his gift of healing to all. Let’s look at the Matthew 11:28-30 to see how Jesus treated the sick.
Matthew 11: 28 states, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. “ . Jesus did not kick others when they were down. Some mental patients do not get a lot of sleep because of manic episodes, so help others to rest by praying for them and not ridiculing them for their actions.
Matthew 11:29 states, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls”. God works through us and we are blessed when we adhere to his word. Do not pass judgment on anyone, especially the mentally ill. They cannot control what is happening to them even with medication and treatments. Be kind and gentle to everyone.
Mathhew 11:30 states,” For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” We are so busy trying to please the world that we forget that life is about the little things. You can experience mental illness too if you are anxious, depress or more. Lighten up your responsibilities and if you are having a manic episode, get help.
We have to approach mental illness like Jesus did. He was gentle and kind; live a simple live; and help those in need get rest.

Mind
It is easy to make crazy decisions when you are stress and depress. I heard that some healthcare workers committed suicide because of the increase of deaths. We have to keep our emotions in check. I am an advocated of mental health because I have anxiety attacks. You can balance your mind by meditating, journaling and expressing more gratitude. These are just some of the few holistic methods that can help you stay grounded.
Body
If you are not healthy and exposed to the virus, you can die. So, you have to take charge of your own health by exercising, eating right, and getting enough sleep. You can also use alternative medicines in combination with modern medicine to stay healthy. Find some natural ways to build your overall health.
Soul
The way you treat yourself and others comes from your beliefs. If you have a positive outlook in life, you will overcome a lot of obstacles. I believe that we are all children of God. As a Christians, I put my faith in him. He helps me to stay positive and hopeful. Make sure that you have a healthy spiritual outlook.

Think like the top 10%
Did you know only 10% of Americans make over 100,000 a year. 90% of Americans were educated differently. They think that they must get a job with 401K benefits. Buy a house and then start saving. This is not the way the top thinks. In 2021, let’s change our mindset.
Savings and CDs are ok
Most people put their money in the bank which is a good thing. Practicing saving money helps us to build, but you will not get a lot of growth. Most accounts give about 3% interest which is very little. It will take two lifetimes to build a nest egg with that low interest rate.
401K and Pensions are not guaranteed.
When a person loses their job, they lose their pension or 401K. This money can go quickly. If you do not have a job, you will use the money for bills or emergencies. Please keep your 401ks or pensions, but do not depend on it.

Talking to yourself might seem crazy, but saying positive things to yourself is healthy. You do not have to talk out loud and you can talk when you are by yourself. Replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts will help build your self-confidence. It is called positive affirmations. Professor Moore (2019) wrote, “The good news is that the practice and popularity of positive affirmations are based on widely accepted and well-established psychological theory.” So, go ahead and talk to yourself. Here are three exercises to try.
Meditation
First you have to concentrate on your breathing. Block everything else out and repeat a positive phrase. This may seem petty, but it works. Repeat, “I like myself” three times a day for a month and you will see a change in your behavior. You will build your confidence level which will help you succeed.
Look in the mirror
Whenever you get a chance during the day, look in the mirror and repeat a positive phrase. Repeat, “I am happy and healthy”. Do it when you are by yourself. This way you will not judge yourself. Say this phrase as many times as you need. You should feel nothing but gratitude because you can see how great your life is.
Prayer
Authors Logel, Page, Hall, and Cohen, wrote, “When self‐integrity is threatened by information suggesting that people are not meeting standards for adequacy, they feel stress and extra pressure to restore it, by maladaptive means if necessary (Cohen & Sherman, [ 7]; Steele, [39]).” When we pray, we are free. We are taking our burdens to the lord and leaving them there. Thank God for what he has done and ask for him to send the holy spirit. Be patience and try to meet God standards. Not man.

Proverbs 3: 5-6
Here is how faith is described in Proverbs 3: 5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Faith is trusting which most of us get, but not leaning to our own understanding is hard. Life gets hard and we start stressing more and praying less. Everything will fall into place. Don’t worry. Be happy.
What did Jesus say?
In Matthew 14:31, Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” Do not doubt. We should never doubt God’s power. Do some research. Sit down with pin and paper and write down how many times God has come through for you. Faith brings positive thoughts and doubt brings depression, addictions, and more. ‘
So, what are you going to do?
You can lose faith in God and but never put your faith into something or someone else. Depending on someone else will be addressed on another post. Putting your faith into things will not help you balance your life. If you lose those things, you will be fixated on getting more things. You won’t think about important things like family, friends, and life. Don’t lose faith in God. He will carry us through.
