You’ve heard it all before. Healthy living consists of eating healthily, exercising, getting 8 hours of sleep, and drinking 8 cups of water. Everyone knows about healthy living, so what is all the fuss about? The problem is we don’t do it.

According to Citroner, G (20222) stated, “In fact, less than 3 percent of Americans meet the measurable characteristics that reduce a person’s risks for heart disease, according to new research published in the journal Mayo Clinic Proceedings.”
What are you going to do?
We know what to do and it’s not that we don’t care. Most of us do not have the time. We concentrate on material things like money, cars, and homes. It makes sense to meet your needs, so don’t overlook self-care. It is the most important need because when we are sick, we cannot get the material things that we want. Put your self-care first.
Let’s start out slow and finish as a winner. Take baby steps until you get into a routine and the rest will come naturally. Concentrate on your
E- Eat healthy and exercise
- Try two new healthy recipe a week
- Start exercising once a week and add a day each week or two
8- 8 hours of sleep and 8 cups of water
- Always keep water with you
- Use herbs for sleep during the day
We are not forgetting the mind and soul. Having a self-care routine helps us to have time for our minds and soul. Remember life is a process not a race.
